The Great British Bake Will Spread Some Christmas Festive Cheer!

resizedimage (1)The Great British Bake Off is bringing some Christmas cheer. The baking competition which is presented by Mel Giedroyc along with Sue Perkins with the judges cookery writer Mary Berry and professional baker  will make the selection from contestants for the best amateur baker. Fans will have more to celebrates this upcoming Holiday as BBC boss ,Charlotte Moore has given confirmation that popular loved show will be bringing to the screens to two seasonal specials, such a festive treat. The past season was so popular that a whopping thirteen million people tuned in to see Nadiya Hussain crowned the winner. During the episodes, four past contestants will the baking competition to make their best Christmas classics, such as Christmas cakes and Yule logs.

“Mary, Paul, Mel and Sue are the perfect recipe for the festive season,” Charlotte said of the new specials.

It won’t necessarily be past winners of the show who will be chosen to take part in the seasonal specials, but those who have won over viewers with their big personalities.

Viewers have speculated already that one of the Christmas episodes could see the return of Iain Watters and Diana Beard, who hit headlines due to Baked Alaska-gate – when Diana was accused of deliberately sabotaging Iain’s frozen dessert, leading him to throw the sloppy mess in the bin and walk off in a strop.

It’s hoped The Great Christmas Bake Off can emulate the success of the Sport Relief versions of the show, where groups of celebrities compete to raise money for the charity.

Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood’s Biggest Mistake His Affair!

resizedimagePaul Hollywood reveals my affair was the biggest mistake of my life. The popular English baker and celebrity chef and judge of the Great British Bake Off insists that his brief encounter with his younger co star was just wrong, g]saying:

“It was the biggest mistake of my life”,

And he also lets it out that he is trying to reconcile with his wife. Hollywood had to move to the Unites States in order to present American Baking Competition earlier this year, he says he still loves his wife.

What had been reported is that he had the brief affair his US co-star Marcela Valladolid, thirty five, splitting with wife of fifteen years Alexandra this summer.

He had now confessed the extra-marital relationship was the,

“biggest mistake” of his life, saying: “What I did was wrong.”

Appearing on Radio 5 Live’s Richard Bacon show yesterday, he said he had,

“deservedly” been the focus of media attention recently, “because of what I did in America”.

He added:

“It was the biggest mistake of my life.”

When asked to clarify what he meant, he told listeners:

“I did have an affair in America with my co-judge. It something which was the biggest mistake of my life, because actually I still love my wife.

“I’m at that point at the moment where we’re talking, we are working to get back together again. But it’s going to take time.”

Speaking of the issue of privacy and the press, he conceded the extra attention had been “deserved”.

“What I did was wrong,” he said. “But now what we just need that space.”

Also reported his wife Alexandra was consulting a divorce lawyers over the split, while Hollywood has spoken about the effect of marital breakdown on his eleven-year-old son.

He told the Radio Times he was “upset and sad” about events, admitting his new-found fame had “caused a problem”.

Earlier this year, he said he would not comment on his marriage for the sake of his son, Joshua, saying he had become “quite ill”.

“I’m upset and sad about the whole separation,” he said. “I’ve been totally honest with those in the know. Everyone else? That’s their problem, I don’t care.”

He added his reputation as a heartthrob was a ‘joke’, claiming: ‘The real Paul Hollywood is shy, likes nothing better than going home, putting on slippers and dressing gown, having a cup of tea and watching telly.’
