Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell Is “Losing Control” Of One Direction

Louis Walsh says Simon Cowell has ‘lost control’ of One Direction. Walsh is an Irish entertainment manager and judge on reality shows. What Walsh is saying, in his opinion the band just grew too big, and now they just don’t listen to anybody,” and maybe that is why they are starting to have public spats such as the one between Louis Tomlinson’s recent Twitter row with former member Zayn Malik.

The Kiltimagh, County Mayo native spoke about the band’s manager, Simon, the former ‘X Factor’ judge said:

“I think he’s lost control of them and that’s what happens with bands. They get too big and don’t listen to anybody and then it’s all over, and then they think ‘why didn’t we listen?’”

The latest row saw Louis Tomlinson, 23, post a veiled insult on his Twitter account mocking Zayn’s use of photo filter, to which he replied: “Remember when you had a life and stopped making b****y comments about mine?”

And while no action seems to have been taken, Louis Walsh.

who has previously looked after the careers of acts including Boyzone and Westlife, and currently manages Union J – said he would have given the argumentative member a “good b******ing” to reprimand him if he was their manager.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper:

“I would have given them a good b******ing – they would know never to do anything like that. I would probably sack them.

“You don’t air your dirty laundry in public. Simon made this band. They would be nowhere without Simon Cowell. Let’s get that straight. He put them together, he pressed the buttons, he made it happen. Without Simon, they’d be nothing.”

Pete Waterman, Simon Cowell Mentor ‘Says He Knows Very Little About Music’

simon-cowell-picture-1Pete Waterman says Simon Cowell knows very little about music. Waterman, who is an English record producer, songwriter, radio and club DJ, television presenter, president of Coventry Bears rugby league club and a keen railway enthusiast, who in the eighties was Cowell’s mentor, gave his opinion saying that he thinks he knows ”very little” about music. Sixty eight-year-old Watermon, told Daily Mail’s Event magazine:

”Simon knows very little about music. His knowledge comes out of the ‘Guinness Book of Hits’. He’d keep a copy on his desk, and whenever an act came in he’d skim it for an old number one, look at the sales figures and then do it again.

”I love Simon he’s the smartest man I know, but he isn’t in it for the music.”

He also saidOne Direction, which Cowell takes are of as,

greatest marketing phenomenon ever”.

He told the British magazine:

”One Direction is a band but it sure as hell ain’t anything to do with music. They are the greatest marketing phenomenon ever. Go and see one of their concerts – they are an eye-opener. It’s all about sending tweets and talking to the crowd. You don’t come out humming the tunes. All One Direction do is prove that Simon Cowell is a genius when it comes to making money. They are worth millions.”

The former ‘Pop Idol’ judge added:

”But imagine for a moment if they really could sing, really did write great songs – they would be worth squillions.”

quintet One Direction don’t fight say they are too close

UntitledOne Direction don’t fight. The popular English/Irish Irish boy band, which consists of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson say that staying mad at each other for long is not something they do. The former The X Factor stars also say that they are very close friends that if they have any disagreements they have are resolved quickly and amicably.

Louis said:

”We all actually find it difficult to stay annoyed with each other, which is a good thing. Like, if one of the guys did something to annoy me, and in my head I was thinking, ‘Right, to prove a point to him, I’m going to really have to stay annoyed for so long.’ I just can’t do it.”
Louis believes friends shouldn’t fall out over ”petty” things as their bonds are not worth throwing away over trivial matters.
He said: ”I think life’s too short. If you start a friendship and you’re happy with it, what’s the point of losing it over something that’s probably petty.”
The ‘Best Song Ever’ singer also slammed celebrities who claim their fame makes it impossible to live a normal life.
He told Top of the Pops magazine: ”I’ve never understood people saying that they literally can’t go out anywhere, because it’s just not the case. You might have to stop and do a few photos, but then you carry on with what you’re doing.
”The only time it gets crazy is when people know we’re going to be in a specific place.”
