On playing a newly out-of-the-closet lesbian on Glee:
“I get so many tweets a day from people thanking me and saying how the role has changed their lives, enabling them to come out.”
On her character’s impending graduation on Glee:
”Personally, I want to stay on the show for as long as they’ll have me. I see it as my little home base.”
On being compared to J.Lo: ”I would love to be where she is one day.”
On being raised a devout Christian and discussing her beliefs:
”It’s hard and sort of sad that you do feel like you need to tread lightly when you say, “Yes, I do go to church and I read the Bible,’ because once you do that people will be like, ‘Why are her boobs out? Why is her midriff showing? Why is she playing a lesbian?’ I don’t want to deal with that stuff, and so I’ve never really discussed it. It’s very personal.”
On preferring on-set high school to the real thing:
“I always knew I liked being on sets more than anything in the world, especially high school…I was super flat chested and really skinny. I didn’t have any boyfriends and didn’t go to any high school dances.”

American actress, pop singer and model Lindsay Lohan is set to appear on Glee. She had begun her career as a fashion model and soon after that appeared on Disney’s Parent Trap. The actress will have a guest part as herself during the season’s last episodes, this confirms Gossip Cop.
She’ll serve as a “celebrity judge” at Nationals. Lohan most recent appearance had been in front of the cameras hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the fourth time earlier this month.

American musical comedy-drama television series Glee being sued by a U.K. comedy club owner over name. Actually it could be taken off the air in the U.K. over a legal battle.
Apparently Mark Tughan, who had launched his Glee Club franchise in England in the 1990s, is suing bosses at Twentieth Century Fox for breach of trademark, and what he is claiming is that sharing the same name is bad for business.
The complaint is to be heard at Britain’s High Court after a judge at London’s Patents County Court warned on Thursday that a win would mean
“the television program, at least in its current form, would have to be taken off the air”.
Judge Colin Birss admitted a ruling against Fox executives, who have filed a counterclaim, would be “potentially catastrophic” for the Glee phenomenon.
It had been just last September when Tughan had put fourth this complaint when he said the family-friendly series, which stars Matthew Morrison as a teacher to a group of singing high school students, was damaging his brand.
He explained,
“People associate us with the show and I can’t be in that position as we couldn’t be more different. Glee‘s performers sing covers and the program is aimed at a young demographic while mine starts at 18. It’s manifested itself in the under-performance of newer outlets in Oxford and Nottingham.
“Members of staff said people were walking along the street and pointing to the entrance, asking if it was something to do with the TV show.”

Cory Monteith, is a Canadian actor and musician, you may know him as Finn Hudson on the television series Glee. Allegedly police had been called to Monteith’s Hollywood Hills house, just earlier on Sunday, after a pal’s birthday party did indeed get quiet out of hand.
It was the neighbors of the star who had complained that uncontrollable noise at around four thirty in the morning, which did bring cops to his door. Things ended quietly when Monteith did agree to end the party, and noise without incident, this according to TMZ.
The site reports that other “Glee” cast members were in attendance, and that Monteith’s roommate had been ticketed for the loud music.

‘Glee’ actress Jane Lynch is in mourning over the death of her mother, The American comedian, actress and singer, is devasted over the loss of her mother. She had in fact announced the passing of her mother on her Twitter post late in the evening on Monday, January 30, 2012.
”My mom has passed away [with my siblings] Julie, Bob, John and me at her side. Please send her your love on her journey,” Lynch tweeted.
The actress also had numerous messages of kind thoughts from her fans, including one from actress Evan Rachel Wood.
”So sorry. Sending a lot of love your way,” Wood wrote to her friend Lynch.
There are funeral plans for Eileen, her full time job was a secretary and she had been a homemaker during Jane’s youth, have been released as of yet. Lynch has previously credited Eileen with giving her self-confidence as a youth by frequently complimenting her friendly nature.
