American Idol’ singer Skylar Laine has spilt up with her boyfriend. The couple was said to break up on the same day she was eliminated from th reality show, Life & Style claims.
It is stated that they ended their three year relationship over the fact,
”the distance was too much for him”, a source said.
“She did break up with her boyfriend,” another insider added. “She’s excited to go home to Mississippi and rest for a while before she has to start rehearsing for the Idol tour.”
Laine‘s relationship allegedly got into some trouble after rumors linking her to fellow contestant Colton Dixon, though at the time Laine laughed off the speculation by saying that he is like “family”.

Former ‘American Idol’ Skylar Laine contestant reveals ‘All I want is a group of country fans’. the star has mentioned that she is very grateful that she had found a group of loyal country fans from her time during tech show.
The seventeen year old has mentioned even though she went home on Thursday night’s show she is still very positive about her career.
”I’m so happy that the South was rooting for me. Country fans were rooting for me. That’s all I want,” Laine explained to MTV News
.”All I want is a country group. Winning would have been great, but I just want to make an album. I want people to buy it. I want to be on the radio.”
Laine has confessed that she is “relieved” to be off American Idol as it means “no more stress”.

‘American Idol’ finalist Phillip Phillips had to be hospitalized, as he had to undergo surgery to remove kidney stones. It had been on march , 2012 when he had been saying he ha intense stomach pain so on Thursday morning March 8, 2012, according to his father as he expressed this to Tmz.com.
But now Phillips has been released from the hospital and returning back to the Idol set to hear if his rendition of Stevie Wonder’s Superstition on Wednesday’s March 7, 2012 show had indeed secured him his spot in the competition.

‘American Idol’ Bo Bice welcomes fourth child
‘American Idol’ contestant Bo Bice has welcomed fourth child. The American singer and musician had announced on his web site that his first daughter came into this world on Monday.
“Bo and [his wife] Caroline welcomed Merrin Elizabeth Joy Bice, on April 23, 2012,” the message reads. “Merrin was a healthy 8lbs 11 oz.
“Both Mom and baby are doing great!”
Bice and his with Carolina already have three sons Adain, Caleb and Ean.
The message on the web site described the boys as “proud big brothers” to their new baby sister.

American radio personality, television host and network producer Ryan Seacrest signed a two year contract that is worth thirty million dollars for him to stay with ‘American Idol’.
The ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’s deal does guarantees that the star will stay through series twelve and thirteen seasons. Seacrest has been with Idol since 2002.
“It’s been a wild ride, and I’m excited for my journey with ‘American Idol’ to continue,” said Seacrest in a statement, calling it a “dream job.”

Last night’s show for American Idol was on and off, with great performances, not so great performances, plus improvements.
Like for instance Hollie, made a huge come back from her week before; when this week she sang more of a strength and formal song.
The show starts off tonight with the remaining 7 idols on stage singing “Raise Your Glass” by Pink. What a great song for all of them to sing. Then Ryan breaks into the Ford commercial.
They show gifts from fans to Steven, Elise, and Hollie. But more importantly Colton got in invite to prom.
Now the results happen, and Ryan splits the 7 contestants into three groups. The first group consisting of Colton, Hollie, and Phillip. The second group has Joshua, Elise, and Jessica. The third group is Skylar on her lonesome. (more…)
