Zac Efron maybe set for new role. The former High School Musical star may have his presence in J.J. Abrams’ ‘Star Wars: Episode VII‘. The The Lucky One actor reportedly has met up with the bosses of the movie for this episode, which has been acquired by Disney. Asked if he’d take a part in the movie, he told MTV:
”Yeah, I just went and met with them. So I don’t know. It would be cool. I love [the 'Star Wars' movies], but… who knows?”
It has also been rumoured many of the actors from the original trilogy – shot in the 70s and 80s – such as Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker could reprise their roles.
Fifty seven year old Carrie fisher recently mentioned she would like play her character once again as Princess Leia, again, saying:
”I’d like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again – but with white hair. I think that would be funny.”
J.J. Abrams at this time has not announced any firm cast decisions, but has said that the film’s script is complete. Star Wars: Episode VII’ is tentatively scheduled for release for sometime December 2015.
