Robin Williams set to star as Mrs. Doubtfire once again? he is a popular actor, voice actor and stand up comedian, he starred in many movies such as Good Morning, Vietnam, Jumanji and Night at the Museum and now could he be on his way to play one of his other parts as Mrs. Doubtfire a Scottish nanny, as it has been reported that sequel is on the way and a script is being penned by ‘Elf’ writer David Berenbaum. The sixty two year old along with Chris Columbus, who directed the original 1993 hit comedy, are both attached to a sequel, this is according to the Hollywood Reporter. Williams part was,
as a struggling actor and recently divorced father of three in ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’, who, in order to spend more time with his children, posed as a Scottish nanny named Euphegenia Doubtfire.
It was back in 2001, when Bonnie Hunt was enlisted to pen a script, however Columbus and Williams never felt any of the drafts by Hunt or other writers were strong enough.But now once again the project is reported to be active again, and it was just earlier this year when Berenbaum became involved.
