Twilight’s ‘Kristen Stewart’ To Star In And To Produce New Film Cali!

‘Twilight’actress Kristen Stewart does have a new film project in the works. The American actress has landed herself the lead in Cali which is an upcoming indi movie from Voltage Productions and New School Media, producers announced on Friday.

She will play Mya who needs to go back home to save her sister years after she had left her home along with her boyfriend. She will in fact also produce the movie, which will start filming this summer.

“Kristen is a talented and dynamic actor, with a proven box office draw,” Voltage’s Craig J. Flores tells Variety.

He continues,

“Her role in Cali will be edgy and sexy. It will no doubt push the envelope on the public’s view of Kristen’s wide-ranging abilities. Voltage is thrilled to have her as a partner on this fantastic film.”

Stewart will next be seen, of course, in Snow White and the Huntsman, which opens June 1, 2012.

American actress Kristen Stewart is penning a her first novel. ‘The Twilight Saga’ actress who is now twenty one years old has indeed taken up writing and is starting on her new debut book while she is on the set of her newest movie Snow White And The Huntsman.

 She is also getting the help of screenwriter Jules Stewart her mother to help her find a publisher, according to Britain’s Mail on Sunday. A source tells the publication,

“Kristen began by writing short stories. She has been working on her novel while filming and has almost finished it. She’s desperate to be a published writer in her own right.”

Snow White And The Huntsman, by Universal Pictures, which features Kristen Srewart is now being publiched into a novel, the author is Lily Blake. The realease date for the book is April 17, 2012 while the movie will arrive in theaters on June 1, 2012.

 ‘Twilight‘ actress. Kristen Stewart is to become the new face of Balenciaga fragrance. Stewart will indeed be a spokesperson for new woman’s scent when it does debut in autumn, this according to WWD.

Stewart said of the endorsement:

 ”Balenciaga has always stood out to me. Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now.

 ”The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”

Balenciaga’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière has explained to the website that Stewart is quiets the perfect choice for their new campaign because of her cutting-edge fashion sense.

 ”Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence,” Ghesquière said.

 Back in 1914 nearly a century ago, did become one of the pre-eminent French fashion houses.
