Zoe McLellan‘s divorce settlement has been finalized. The NCIS: New Orleans (Meredith Brody) has reportedly agreed upon handing over a one-off payment spousal support, in the amount of $30,000 (£20,000) to , her ex-husband, Jean-Pierre Gillain. also according to TMZ, he, Gillain agreed not to go after anymore spousal support in the future. What the forty-one-year-old actress will also pay, who makes for each episode $45,000 (£30,000) is $4,000 (£2,700) per month in child support. The two were only married for about three years from 2012 till 2015.
Gillain, had wanted joint custody of their son Sebastian,
and opposed his estranged spouse’s request to relocate to New Orleans for her new TV role.
After a prolonged custody battle TMZ report that the former couple agreed on a visiting schedule for Sebastian, with the two-year-old splitting time between his parents in New Orleans and Los Angeles where his father lives.
Zoe’s NCIS colleague Scott Bakula spoke in support of the actress in a declaration for the court during the custody battle last year (15) after her former husband claimed it was unfair he had to travel from L.A. to visit his son.
Quantum Leap star Bakula said: ”Her life is and has been, about one thing and one thing only: being Sebastian’s Mommy.
“I have witnessed that every fiber of her being goes into providing a safe, nurturing, creative world for her son to grow up in. Zoe has a huge heart and in my opinion, she is handling this tumultuous time of her life with great care, consideration and class.”
