Celine Dion Facing More Heartbreak Her Brother Is Dying

Celine Dion may be dealing with more tragedy, Following a death of her husband former manager, René Angélil from Cancer, news has now emerged that her brother Daniel is dying of Cancer ”brain, tongue and throat cancer” and he may not last much longer. Angélil died from throat cancer just yesterday, January 14, 2016, at the age of seventy-three. The news came from Don’s sister Claudette revealing sadly their brother is dying of cancer, she explained to TMZ

‘that Daniel, 59, has been fighting ”brain, tongue and throat cancer” and is currently surrounded by family, including their 89-year-old mother’.

Claudette added to the website that he may not survive for another week.

Announcing René’s death, Celine’s representative said: ”René Angelil, 73, passed away this morning at his home in Las Vegas after a long and courageous battle against cancer. The family requests that their privacy be respected at the moment; more details will be provided at a later time.”

Dion and her late husband shared three children, a fourteen year old son, Rene, and five-year-old fraternal twins Eddy and Nelson.and he had adult children from another relationship – Anne-Marie, Patrick and Jean-Pierre.

Dion was with Angélil at the time of his passing, she gave him his wishes to die in her arms. Angélil actually battled three bouts of Cancer.

She previously revealed it was her spirituality that has helped her to cope during her spouse’s health struggles.

Speaking to Taste of Life magazine, Celine – who was raised a Roman Catholic – revealed:

”Life is not always perfect. You have to deal with it. Whatever life imposes – sickness, or whatever, you don’t have a choice. This is life, this is nature. But you do have the choice on how you’re going to go through this. And if you don’t have spirituality you’re going to fall apart before things happen. I am very spiritual. I believe in myself, I believe in my family, and I’m positive. Through this, you show your children how to deal with things, and how to be strong.”
