Sir Mick Jagger Donates Scholarship In Memory Of His Girlfriend

Mick Jagger gives a donation. One of my favorite rock and roll vocalist, how can you not like his song Start Me Up, well the Rolling Stones lead vocalist has done something in the memory of L’Wren Scott, who sadly passed away, Jagger’s really cared for her. He has been dubbed one of the most the most popular and influential frontmen in the history of rock & roll has donated a fashion scholarship to Central Saint Martins in her memory. the seventy one year old is from Dartford, Kent, his father a teacher and his mother a hairdresser. Sadly L’Wren died at the age of forty nine, it was reported she took her own life.

The legacy will be an award for one MA student each year to cover fees and part of their living expenses.

Fabio Piras, course director of MA Fashion, said of his contribution. “I am very grateful to receive this extremely generous scholarship package, gifted by Mick Jagger in L’Wren Scott’s name.

“Our students sacrifice much to take up this course and work extremely hard while they are here.

At the time of her death, Sir Mick said in a statement:

“She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me.

“I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received.”
