Hillary Scott has been involved in a bus fire. The music singer and co-lead singer of Lady Antebellum. It was Thursday morning (April 16) when was on her way to the 2015 ACM Awards and experienced a scary moment, she was with her husband, manager along with her bus driver,
were on their way from Nashville to Dallas on Interstate 30 when, near Dalrock, Texas, they noticed smoke and stopped the bus. After they evacuated, the bus burst into flames.
All four of the traveling group are “safe and sound,” according to Scott, who shared a frightening photo of the incident on Instagram, along with a note.
“Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today,” the singer writes. “Our bus tire caught on fire, and we had to evacuate very quickly. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager and driver.
“Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe,” Scott adds. “Love you all!!!!”
Dallas-Fort Worth’s CBS station reports that no other cars were involved in the incident, but the highway was backed up as crews worked to clean up the area of the incident.
