Hilary Duff says ‘I don’t care about being skinniest person around’. The actress, who rose to fame as a teen idol when she played the lead role in Lizzie McGuire has no thoughts of been skinny, her main focus is to just concentrate on her health and wellbeing. As she explained to Elle Magazine what’s more important to her is acting and her two year old little boy called Luca than to count calories and obsessing about what size she is. And yes she says she does think like other woman that she always weighs a few pounds more than she should, however she doesn’t let it affect her.
“I just tell myself, ‘I’m 5’2″, I’m really fit, killing it in the gym, and doing crazy things.’ I love to work out, but I’m just not that concerned with being the skinniest person. I’m not a model; I’m an actress,” she said.
“I always feel like I’m in the five to ten pound struggle, but my life is so busy. I’m just not that concerned, really. I’m normal and I’m perfectly happy being that way. Some weeks I’m like, ‘Man, my clothes are fitting so good’ and then some weeks I’m like, ‘I need to cut back on a few things,’ but that’s it. I don’t fall into the trap of having to be 110 pounds.”
Also said, she prefers the time she spends with her son than spending hours n the gym.
In 2013, she said she hadn’t rushed to lose her baby weight following the birth of Luca because she just wanted to spend time with him, not hours in the gym and being unhappy because she couldn’t eat what she wanted.
