Frankie Bridge wishes Rachel Stevens luck. The English singer originally from S Club Juniors and a current member of the girl group The Saturdays has been replaced by her on the Strictly live tour. Bridge, who is pregnant took to Twitter to for this and she also announced that she is pregnant for the second time, and she is suffering severe morning sickness. “Wishing @MsRachelStevens so much luck for the Strictly tour. I couldn’t think of anyone better to look after @keviclifton #StillGutted”.
Stevens will dance with Kevin Clifton.
The 36-year-old wrote on her website she was “excited” to get her dance shows on again.
“I’m really happy for Frankie and Wayne – it’s great news to start the New Year with!
“I know she’s disappointed not to be doing the tour – I was supporting Team Frankie during the show and she was fantastic, but I’m happy to be able to step in for her.
“It’s no secret that I loved my time in Strictly and that I’m a big fan of the dances so I’m excited to be back and to get my dancing shoes on again.
“Today, I’m straight into rehearsals learning the routines and meeting the guys and next week we’ll be on tour seeing fans across the country – I can’t wait!”
Stevens joins the 2014 tour along with Caroline Flack, fellow finalists Simon Webbe and Mark Wright, together with Scott Mills, Alison Hammond and Thom Evans.
The judging panel includes Craig Revel Horwood together with Zoe Ball and 2008 Strictly winners Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup.
