Tom Hardy dislikes being followed. At thirty six, the English actor, who is well recognized for his movie roles such as This Means War. The Dark Knight Rises and Lawless says just because you’re an actor it shouldn’t have to mean being famous.
He told USA today:
“I hate being tracked or followed. I don’t like it when people say, ‘Well, you should have expected that when you accepted the job as an actor’.
“When you go to drama school, no one gives you a class on fame … Just treat people how you wish to be treated.”
Rumours have been going around that Hardy and Charlotte Riley wed and he says if confirmation is needed it won’t come from him. He has also spoke about his serious roles and admits he will not make a permanent switch starring in romantic comedies.
He stated :
“Whether I’m married or not married, people will find out. But it’s also not something I’m going to offer.”
When asked about filming for the 2012 film starring Reese Witherspoon, he said: “I didn’t understand how you could do something which is so much fun and be so miserable doing it.
“I probably won’t do a romantic comedy again.”
