Pierce Brosnan says look after yourself in love. The Mrs. Doubtfire star says the best love advice is do this and to ‘have grace under pressure’. Also known for roles in Mama Mia and Dante’s Peak, the Irish actor says he known allot about romance and advises when it comes to unrequited love, you should always look after yourself first. He told The Huffington Post:
”Just because I look the way I look or do what I do doesn’t mean that I’m like that and do that every day of my life. It’s an illusion. I’m just a guy. I know the pain and deep heartache of wanting to be with someone who doesn’t really give you the attention.
”[My advice is to] take your foot off the pedal. Just look after yourself. Protect your heart, and have a sense of grace about it all. Grace under pressure.”
Sixty year old Bronson, has also endured heartache at the time he lost his first wife Cassandra Harris in 1981 to Ovarian cancer and her daughter Charlotte, he adopted in 1986 to the exact condition in 2013. He added:
”It all goes by so quickly, anyway. Love is hard. It’s really hard, especially when they get you by the heart strings.”
He is now married to Keely Shaye Smith and says he is happy with his life, and is happy that he can still make some kind of living out of acting. He addd:
”I’m happy. I’ve always been happy, actually. I’ve always loved doing what I do. Once I found acting and found that I could get away with it and make a living out of it, I was thrilled.”
