‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’ Yung Berg Fired Over Assault Allegations

Yung Berg has been fired. The rapper is also known as Hitmaka has been fired from the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop Hollywood over severe allegations which are coming from his recent arrest for alleged domestic assault following a confrontation with Co-star and girlfriend Masika Tucker.However, the “Sexy Lady” vocalist, real name (Christian Ward) has not yet commented on this issue.

The news was announced on the cable channel’s blog on Friday evening. It was on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 when early on in the day he had been detained, he was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, a misdemeanor and if he gets a conviction he could face a maximum punishment of one year in jail.

Police told ABC News they responded to a 911 call about an assault at the Gershwin Hotel in Manhattan at 2:15 a.m. and that the hip hop star’s girlfriend, who also goes by the name Masika Kalysha, said Yung Berg grabbed her by her neck, threw her to the ground, dragged her by the hair and punched her in the face.

Police added that she said she was in pain but refused to be treated at the scene.

“Based on the severity of the allegations against Yung Berg, VH1 is terminating its relationship with him in connection with Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, effective immediately,” the cable network said in its statement.

“Yung Berg was arrested on November 5th and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing in connection with an assault on fellow cast member Masika Tucker,” it added. “The arrest took place in a New York hotel several hours after the taping of the reunion special for Love & Hip Hop Hollywood had wrapped.”

Yung Berg a raised in Chicago, he has aso done some producing.
