Jo Wood believes Mick Jagger will recover. She is an English model and former wife of the guitarist Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones and she believes he will be strong and move forward in the wake of L’Wren Scott‘s suicide. Wood and Jagger’s bandmate Ronnie Wood divorced in 2009 says he will be able to ”get over” the tragic death of his long-term girlfriend. She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper:
”Of course he’ll get over it, you learn to live with it.”
However at this time he is left devastated and he is starting moved out all reminders of their home in which they shared. Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper, a source said:
”Mick is so distraught and he is just having any little keepsakes removed. He can’t bear seeing her clothes or the photos of them together.
”He feels so let down by her and really believes there must be something he could have done to help her. He is devastated and really struggling to cope.”
L’Wren’s sister Jan Shane has also thanked Jagger for ”sharing” her ashes with her family. She said:
”I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, Mick’s kind gesture of sharing the ashes.
”It’s especially pleasing to know her ashes will be buried net to mum and dad because L’Wren was so close to them.”
