Jenna Coleman just couldn’t stay away from the Doctor Who series. The English actress, who did play the part of Clara Oswald in the British television series Doctor Who and Jasmine Thomas in the British soap opera Emmerdale will be once again seen in another season of the hit series. Coleman who was born in Blackpool, Lancashire, started her career in acting at a young age she was a member of a theatre company called In Yer Space and she said to play once again the time-traveling title character’s sidekick and companion to the Docotr (Peter Capaldi) reports have confirmed she will reprise her role following uncertainty that she would return.
“It’s wonderful. I get a whole other series of stories with the Doctor and I couldn’t walk away from the story being unresolved,” she told the BBC. “There is so much more to do. I think they’ve (Oswald and the Doctor) finally just reached a point where they really understand each other.”
Capaldi, praised Coleman, saying,
“I’m thrilled. Jenna has just been fantastic and such a pleasure to work with.”
Coleman joined the show in 2012.
