GRL And Simon Cowell Express Their Sorrow Following Tragic Death Of GRL Bandmate

GRL And Simon Cowell have spoken out following the tragic death of Simone Battle. They are a British-American-Canadian girl group which consisted of the late Simone Battle along with Lauren Bennett, Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton and Paula van Oppen and they were contestants on The X Factor with mentor Simon Cowell. But sadly twenty five year old Battle has died and her bandmates have expressed their deep sorrow over Twitter, but,

“Words cannot express the depth of our loss. Simone’s incredible talent was only surpassed by the size of her heart.” read the band stunned statement via Twitter, “We will carry her memory with us in everything we do.”

Battle was found hanging in the closet of her bedroom at her home in Los Angelos by her father Friday morning of an apparent suicide.

Simon Cowell also sent his emotional tribute to the Battle.

“I am so sad to hear about the news Simone Battle has passed away. She was such a fun nice person. It’s such a loss. Rest in peace Simone,” tweeted her former ‘X Factor’ mentor.

An autopsy will be performed by the L.A. Coroner’s office to determine official cause of death.

It was just last wee when the band released their first single “Ugly Heart” in the U.K.
