David Hasselhoff will be making an appearance in Ted 2. The star, who is nicknamed ‘The Hoff’ is very well known for his Baywatch lifeguard role and as Michael Knight in the Knight Rider series. It has been reported that scenes have already been shot with the popular star for the sequel of the 2012 comedy. The film is written and directed by ‘Family Guy’ creator Seth MacFarlane.
Talking about his role in the movie, Hasselhoff told Digital Spy:
”It’s a pretty funny bit that we’re doing in the movie, and [Seth] is a lovely guy.
”I can’t really talk about the gag, but it’s very irreverent and very funny. He tore me up on the Comedy Central roast, and I get a chance to get back at him!”
The sixty two year old also talked about his personal relationship with MacFarlane, saying:
”He’s a good guy, we don’t meet too many people in showbiz where they say, ‘Hey buddy, I’ll call you back, I’ve got something for you’, and then you actually hear from them again. This guy’s a stand-up guy.”
Ted 2 will also have Mark Wahlberg reprise his role as John, and MacFarlane will once again supply the voice of his childhood teddy bear.
Some other casts members will include Morgan Freeman and Amanda Seyfried.
