‘Big Bang Theory’ Production Delayed Due To Wage Dispute

Included in the show are stars, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco, they all earn the amount of three hundred and twenty five thousand dollars for each episode, however they are asking for at least on million per show.

The news was announced by Warner Bros. TV on Wednesday, July 30, the same day the actors were scheduled to return from their summer hiatus for a table reading of the first episode for the show’s eighth season.

“Due to ongoing contract negotiations, production on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ – which was originally scheduled to begin today – has been postponed,” the studio said in a statement. There’s still no word on when the show will resume its production.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco currently earn $325,000 per episode. They are now seeking up to $1 million per show. Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar are also seeking pay bumps. The two reportedly earn $125,000 and $75,000 per episode, respectively.

However their fans are hoping that this will run into the start of the September premier of the hit show.
