Sophie Monk contacted police when an intruder freaked her out. The English-born Australian singer, model and actress and a member of the girl group Bardot felt the needed to call on the police on August 28, 2014 Thursday morning to her home in New South Wales. Reports suggest her call for help was made at 4am local time and Monk later took to Twitter.com to tell fans she was “freaked” by the incident.
Ironically, the drama took place two days after Monk’s alleged cyber stalker, James MCCabe, made his third appearance in a Tasmanian court.
The 30 year old allegedly sent Monk a series of offensive, sexually explicit messages that included threats of harm aimed at her family and friends.
MCCabe has pleaded not guilty and was bailed on condition he doesn’t contact or harass Monk.
