William Holman expresses Juan Pablo Galavis might get a little boring. The Bachelor has let it out that he does not believe Galavis is the right choice for the lead role on the reality show season nine. Galavis, a father and former professional soccer player, has been given the title of the new Bachelorette. He had lost at getting Desiree Hartsock‘s to open up her heart to him
Holman, who did appear in the seventh season, told to TV Guide he is not sure if Galavis is an okay choice.
“I don’t think America is going to get what they’re looking for with Juan Pablo,” he said. “He has the draw of the accent, but I think it’ll get a little boring after a while. It’s not going to go well. But it’ll probably be one of the best first episodes of any season.”
Bachelor star Michelle Money also expressed her thoughts, suggesting that she is interested to see which women will be cast and adding:
“It’ll definitely be a sexy season that’s either going to work really well or bomb really badly.”
However, Galavis received,
“much support from Bob Guiney – who praised producers for choosing someone with “a little spice” – and from Graham Bunn, who pointed out that Galavis received a great reaction from the public when he was named the new Bachelor”.
The Bachelor host Chris Harrison has previously praised the choice of Galavis, saying that he “wears his heart on his sleeve”.
At this time the Bachelor season is being filmed, set to premier on ABC early next year.
