Sienna Miller is not a fashion follower. The English actress known for her roles in Factory Girl and Layer Cake reveals that she is just too busy taking care of her of her nine month daughter Marlowe, who she shares with her finance Tom Sturridge to follow any kind of fashion trends, and thinks her status as a style icon was simply down to being in the ”right place at the right time”.
Sienna told French newspaper supplement Madame Figaro:
”I don’t even know what the current trends are! With my daughter, Marlowe, I’m not really able to follow fashion. To be honest, I’ve never paid much attention to it.
”I was just at the right place at the right time. I love fashion, but I’m not obsessed with it. I like to work on my style but I don’t only think about that, even though others might think so.
”I don’t wake up in the morning and think, ‘Hmm I’m such an icon!’ My life is very different: I’ve got a baby who hardly lets me get two hours sleep each night.”
The thirty one year old had gained fame for her Bohemian style, but she admitted at this time she prefers to look clean and classic in well-fitting clothing. Sienna said:
”My style has evolved over time. I’m much more classic today. Above everything else, my priority is the cut of the garment, the way it falls on me.”
