‘Firework’ Katy Perry Compares Writing Hit Single The Same As Falling In Love!

Katy Perry reveals songwriting is like falling in love. She admits when she writes a hit song it’s just like falling in love. The Hot’N’Cold singer who had once been in relationships with John Mayer and Russell Brand the realization of having that hit wonder on her hands gives her the same rush of excitement as she gets when she first falls deeply in love with someone.

She said:

”Yes [I know when I've written a hit]. It’s a special feeling you get like finding the person you love. If I could bottle that feeling and give you a whiff, I would.”

The twenty eight year old has revealed that all her songs come from her heart, but does say that the words to one of her most popular hits doe snot hold any  particular significance. She added to Britain’s OK! magazine:

”The lyrics don’t mean anything. It’s the most important song I’ve written for myself. It helps the party, it helps you get dressed, it helps you fall in love and it helps you notice when you’re down and out and that’s the best a song can do. When I’m feeling bad, I need music to help me through.”
