Evan Rachel Wood relies on mediation. The ‘Once and Again star it helps her to stay relaxed and calm. The star started meditation at the age twelve. And now the age of twenty five and expecting her first child along with her husband Jamie Bell she finds that mediation is quite needed in the aid towards her hectic life and career, keeping a anxiety in control.
”I began meditating when I was 12. In my industry it’s easy to get caught up in the anxiety of it all, so I take time to sit and breathe by the ocean – there’s something so calming about that, it puts everything into perspective. I started doing yoga too, I totally get why everyone’s in love with it now. It’s pretty great.”
Evan Wood, also finds the need of dancing to help relax her and to clear her head.
She told Britain’s ELLE magazine:
”Dancing is the most fun workout. It’s another way for me to clear my head – I’m not thinking about anything else, just getting out some energy.
”If you’ve seen me dance I flip my head around, jump and stomp a lot. LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Dance Yrself Clean’ is a great song to rock out to.”
