Demi Lovato her album helper get rid of her demons. The singer-songwriter and fromer ‘Sonny with a Chance’ star found that the making and writing of her newest (fourth) album ‘Warrior’ was very therapeutic for her. following her stint in re-hab in 2010.
She told Repubblica.it:
”My life has changed so much. I am vulnerable and honest in this record, the way I’ve always wanted to be. I was ready to come out of the darkness.
”Writing this album was therapeutic, it helped me get rid of my demons. I am a warrior now – I’ve been through so much in the past years, it was hard to find the courage to get out of it and write about it, I was afraid no one would understand my message.”
The twenty year old has revealed while she gained fame as a Disney star when she was just in her young teenes caught her by suprprise leaving her confused as to which direction to go in, and she did fall prey to ”temptations”.
”I spent so much time trying to figure out what the right thing to do was, that I got distracted along the way by fun and temptations and that’s why I ended up in rehab at 18.”
