Deanna Durbin, 91, 1930′s Hollywood Star Dies!

Deanna Durbin has died. he nineteen thirties star has at the age of ninety one. The Canadian actress had appeared in musical films along with Judy Garland in ‘Every Sunday’. At one time she had been on of highest paid actresses.

She had also been signed by Universal Studios, Three Smart Girls. She mostly played th role as the perfect girl-next-door. She also acted in th 1944’s Christmas Holiday and the crime thriller Lady On A Train. in1949 she retired at the age of twenty eight moving on to marrying producer-director Charles Henri David in 1950.

 They stayed together for 48 years before his death in 1999. News of her death was announced by her son Peter H David, who revealed in a statement that she had died “a few days ago.”
