Ray Price has been hospitalized once again. The eighty seven year old country musician with hist songs such as Release Me and For the Good Times has been checked into the hospital cancelling many upcoming shows due to Kidney Stones.
Also the legendary star earlier in May 2013 had announced that he was winning the fight against pancreatic cancer, with severe dehydration, a common side effect associated with by chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
He had been given a handful of fluids ans was then allowed back home, but now his wife, Janie explains that her husband is once again suffering from ill health and currently unable to perform.
In a post on the musician’s Facebook.com page, she writes,
”So sad to tell you that Ray has been readmitted to hospital. Test results show that the long term dehydration has caused kidney stones to develop and Ray was in severe pain. The Doctors have gotten the pain under control and are now deciding on the best way to remove the stones.
“We have canceled all of the June concerts and the Rob Battle Artist Agency (promotions company) is rescheduling the dates. We will post the new dates when all have been confirmed. Ray asked me to thank you all for your love and support and to tell you that your prayers are keeping us both going.”
