Carrie underwood feels the guilt over her career. The Country singer and winner of American Idol does say that sometimes she feels as if she does disappoint being a wife to Mike Fisher as her music does keep her away allot. The thirty year old star life is hectic with touring and recording that she spends very long periods of time away from her marriage and she goes onto say that it does keep upset her.
”Sometimes I feel I’m not able to be a good friend or a good family member or a good wife because they know I’m not there. Everybody else always has dates to things and Mike’s flying solo. I’ll come home and there’s no food in the refrigerator. It makes me feel so bad sometimes that I’m not there to take care of him.”
However the thirty two year old hockey player does support her in every way, Underwood would quit her career if he asked her to.Speaking to People magazine, she explained:
”He knows performing is what I love and he completely supports me as I do him. But if Mike ever told me he needed me to quit, I’d quit. When you make that promise to somebody and you stand before God and your family and friends, you’ve got to do everything that you possibly can to make it work.”
