Bella Thorne represents Teen Vogue May 2013. The ‘Shake It Up’ star reveals how acting helped her overcome Dylexia. She rocks designed clothes from Jill Stuart and Suzaane Dai. On her new-found love for dance:

“I was actually never a dancer. I just fell in love with the script – so I had to freestyle my way into the audition.”

On her struggles with dyslexia:

“Acting isn’t a side thing- you have to live and breathe it. And I have to work extra hard because I am dyslexic. People said that I couldn’t be an actress, but I’m proving them wrong. Acting has helped me overcome the challenge.”

On her future plans:

“After ‘Shake It Up,’ I want to do films, dramatic roles – and I also want to go to college. USC!”
