The ‘Almost Famous’ actress Zooey Deschanel reveals she feels like an outsider, while at Glam Events. She maybe recognized for her glossy hair and gorgeous dresses, but the star who is in Days of Summer has let it out telling her feelings towards fashion, when she needs to dress up for awards ceremonies.
Zooey told Cosmopolitan:
”You go to something like the Golden Globes, and it’s the most glamorous place you could ever be, but then you go home and you’re still like, ‘Urgh, this dress is too tight, I wanna take off these shoes and put on my pyjamas’.
“It’s always comforting to know that, no matter what, at the end of the night I’m always home in my pyjamas.”
She has said that feeling comfortable does’t come easy for her when she does attend.
“I’ve always felt like an outsider and I still do when I go to fancy events. I still sit there and think, ‘I don’t belong here’” she confessed.
She also has been chosen for the role of country singer Loretta Lynn in the musical Coal Miners Daughter.
Zooey told the Wall Street Journal that Lynn
“is a true legend and to be chosen to play such an iconic woman is a dream come true.”
