‘Welsh Actress’ Angharad Rees At 63 Dies Due To Pancreatic Cancer! (Watch Video)

Welsh actress Angharad Rees best known her role in the BBC drama Poldark has passed away today following a very lengthly battle with pancreatic cancer, her family has said.

A statement released by her family said:

‘The family of Angharad Rees (McAlpine) are deeply saddened to announce that Angharad passed away peacefully today with her family at her bedside in London, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

‘She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.’

The sixty three year old had been married to the late Dynasty actor Christopher Cazenove for for more than twenty years, together they had two sons Linford and Rhys who is thirty five. Limford died in 1999 at the age of twenty six.

Rees and Cazenove divorced in 1994 and she went on to marry David McAlpine in 2005, with whom she lived in London. Her funeral will be private but there are plans for a service in celebration of her life which will be announced at a later date.
