R &B singer Usher is allegedly being sued for taking a Florida DJ’s music, this has been reported. According to TMZ, the person in question called Aubrey Davis (DJ Mixx) has indeed filed a federal lawsuit against Usher this week claiming that he had stole the 2008 composition ‘Let’s Go’.
What Davis is claiming is that he did search for songwriters to add lyrics to his music, but thee were no deals that came through. But now Davis is saying that somehow and someone he dealt with passed the song onto Usher.
It has ended up on his album Raymond v. Raymond as the song ‘Hey Daddy’, and copyrighted to the singer. The lawsuit is demanding an undisclosed amount in damages, as well as an order for Usher to never use the song again.
At this time Usher has not commented to this suit as his focus is on his stepson who was involved in a jet ski accident.
