‘The Railway Children’ star Dinah Sheridan Dies At 92!

Dinah Sheridan has died, she was ninety two years old. The English actress, who was known for roles in Genevieve and The Railway Children passed away peacefully at her home in Northwood, Middlesex this morning.

Her family and her agent Gareth Owen were with  her at her time of passing. She is the mother to actress Jenny Hanley and Sir Jeremy Hanley, she had been considered the quintessential English rose because of her elegance and quiet beauty.

She had been born as Dinah Nadyejda Ginsburg in Hampstead in 1920, her father was Russian and her mother was German, they were photographers to the Royal Family. She was once Wendy in Peter Pan. Sheridan had been married four times.
