‘The Killers’ Pay Tribute To Saxophonist Tommy Marth, He Died Suddenly At Thirty Three!

The Killers’ Saxophoist Tommy Marth has died at the age of thirty three years old. The band had given a tribute to him following his passing on Monday April 23, 2012. Marth had been part of the group’touring and had been seen on ‘The Killers’ albums Sam’s Town and Day and Age.

A statement from Brandon Flowers and his band mates reads

: “Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There’s a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy.”

Marth had also performed with the Las Vegas band Big Friendly Corporation, which featured his sister Melissa and brother Ryan. Group founder Timothy Styles has suggested his friend’s death will be investigated, stating,

 ”People who know him will hear the truth about it (death) later on. But it’s not natural causes.”
