The ‘X Factor’s Simon Cowell had hid from an intruder and in a closet is where he went as his home was broken into and he does admit he found the incident ”spooky”. The person in question ‘Leanne Zaloumis had been reportedly found found as she was hiding in the star’s London House bathroom, Cowell said he was terrified.
”I ended up hiding in one of my wardrobe closets until the police found her. That was a little spooky.”
He was more scared when he had found out that she did in fact copy a serial killer from the movie ‘Seven’ by writing ‘Help me’ on his wall in blood.
Following a ”loud bang” when the intruder crashed through the window when he was watching television in his home, Cowell had alerted his staff, who in turn called Scotland Yard and sent a squad of armed officers to the property. Then Zaloumis had been found hiding on a shelf seven feet off the ground in a walk-in wardrobe.
Last month the intruder was in court, waiting sentencing for the break-in. Given to her was a twelve month community order with a mental health requirement. A restraining order was thrown at her to stay away from Cowell, and she will also wear an electronic tag and adhere to a strict curfew.
