American actress Sean Young is demanding an formal apology following a citizen’s arrest against her at the Academy Awards. The Blade Runner actress had been in a physical altercation with a security guard at the Governor’s Ball, just before the arrest was made.
But she does insist that she in fact did nothing for this to happen, she goes on to say,
”I was just standing by the little line [outside the Governors Ball]. I wasn’t bothering anybody.”
The fifty two year old has expressed yes she was not invited to the party, and she was just there taking pictures for her Facebook page,
”They said, ‘No, you have to leave’,” she told People. “I started to leave and [the guard] grabbed my arm and he started pulling me. And I turned around and I was pulling my arm away – and I struck him.
“They need to make a public apology on behalf of their security guard.”
In a separate interview with X17 Online, she added:
”I was well-behaved. It was fine, and the surveillance tape will bear that out. It’s atrocious behavior on the Academy’s part.”
The Academy later released a statement, saying
: “There was an incident with Ms Young outside the Academy’s Governors Ball. It was not the Academy who pressed charges.”
