Actor Ryan O’ Neil’s troubled son Griffin has indeed been sentenced to six months, in jail after his arrest for driving under the influence of drugs this past year 2011. Griffin is American actor, and did have roles in films such as The Escape Artist, April Fool’s Day, Assault of the Killer Bimbos, and Ghoulies III’.
He is the older son in the family, and he has pleaded guilty to two felony counts of DUI and gun possession charges stemming from a car crash in August (11), this according to EOnline.com. O’Neal was facing a maximum sentence of four years in prison after he veered into oncoming traffic while high on drugs and hit a van, leaving the driver injured.
He missed his initial sentencing hearing last month (Jan12) because he checked himself into rehab to seek help for drinking issues. Also back in 1986 he was involved in a boating accident, which took the life of film producer Gian-Carlo Coppola, and then in August 2012, he collided with another car.
