Barbadian recording artist Rihanna is said to be launching her own fashion TV Show. The star that was born in Saint Michael, Barbados will be executive produce – and make appearances on – a new Sky Living HD series in the UK that looks to discover new fashion designers.
At this moment the show still has no title; bad will air for a course of ten weeks this summer. It has also been mentioned that Rihanna will indeed be involved in the show’s casting and production, but she’s also expected to have an on-camera presence.
There will be designers competing and they will have to create outfits for many different musicians and celebrities, according to the Sky announcement.Then the winner will have the chance to design Rihanna’s stage outfit for a London concert in July.
“I’ve always had a great love of fashion. It’s a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I’ve grown into the person and artist I am today,” said Rihanna in a statement about the show.
She added,
“I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show”
