Flo Rida(Tramar Dillard) fires back at a lawsuit against him, the American rapper and singer-songwriter, is hitting back against allegations towards him that he had underpaid a former assistant, saying that the woman was only a volunteer and he gave her, “an opportunity out of the goodness of my heart”.
Apparently Mahogany Miller had recently filed a lawsuit against the star, she is claiming that she began working for the hip-hop singer as his administrative assistant back in August 11, 2012, and put in around sixty five hours-a-week for just $3.08 (£1.90) an hour.
She is therefore seeking unspecified damages after alleging she was fired less than a day after she had complained about the hours and pay. But his lawyer Sandy Becher does tell TMZ.com that Miller was indeed never officially hired as an employee and was working as an unpaid volunteer, who was occasionally given money for her lunch and gas.
Becher claims Miller was fired because her behavior was
”inappropriate for the workplace environment”.
The rapper adds,
“This is ridiculous that I gave someone an opportunity out of the goodness of my heart and now sadly I am being falsely targeted.”
