American songwriter, dancer, choreographer and actress, Paula Abdul has settled a lawsuit in a driveway fall back in February 22, 2012. The television personality has shelled out $900,000 (£562,500) apparently to s woman in question for the alleged broken pathway at the singers home had caused to trip, fall while filming some scenes for her new reality show called Hey Paula.
Jill Kohl sued the TV star in 2009 over claims she tumbled down Abdul’s driveway because the path,
”was in a dangerous and defective condition”.
She sought damages from Abdul and the studios behind the TV series, Bravo Television and Nbc Universal – and has now settled the case. Kohl’s lawyer Robert Rodriguez Clayton tells Tmz.com Abdul has agreed to pay $900,000 over the incident, while his client will receive a further $100,000 (£62,500) from the show’s production company.
