‘Numb3rs’ Acotr Rob Morrow Lands Recurring Role On ‘CSI: NY’ (Video)

Numb3rs’ actor Rob Morrow lands a recurring role on CSI:NY. He will indeed act in the first two episodes of the CBS drama’s ninth season, this is according to TV Line.

The role he will play is a convicted arsonist who assists Mac (Gary Sinise) along with his team when a new suspect starts lighting fires all across New York City. Morrow who is now forty nine years old had appeared in Entourage and Northern Exposure.

CSI: NY was had been picked up for a ninth season back in May, Gary Sinise recently praised the decision to renew the drama, saying:

 ”I think our writers have a lot more stories in them. [They] have done a very good job of continuing to come up with interesting stories for us to play.”

CSI: NY will return to CBS this fall on Fridays at 8/7c. In the UK, the series airs on Channel 5.
