Melissa McCarthy: ‘I sometimes wish I was a size six’. The American film and television actress, comedian, writer and producer. The star is known for her roles in Gilmore Girls and Mike & Molly has expressed that she does have moments of in securities over her weight. The actress does reveal in an interview with Good Housekeeping, that she is not comfortable with her body size.
“Sometimes I wish I were just magically a size six and I never had to give it a single thought,” McCarthy told the publication.
“I am weirdly healthy, so I don’t beat myself up about it – it wouldn’t help, and I don’t want to pass that on to my girls.”
McCarthy has also said that woman in general do spend too much time driving themselves over weight issues.
“Pretty much everyone I know, no matter what size, is trying some system,” the star said. “Even when someone gets to looking like she should be so proud of herself, instead she’s like, ‘I could be another three pounds less; I could be a little taller and have bigger lips’.
“Where does it end?… You just have to say, ‘It’s pretty damn good. I am right here at the moment and I’m okay with it. I’ve got other things to think about’.”
McCarthy is married to Bridesmaids Co-star Ben Falcone, they share together two daughters, Vivian and Georgette.
