Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins was confronted by a fan in her dressing room, who invaded security. The performer was left shaken by an overzealous fan at her gig that ended up in her dressing room.
Supposedly the thirty one year old was preparing to take to the stage for a show at the Bournemouth International Centre in Bournemouth, England earlier this month February 12, 2011, when the man who is unnamed her entered through the private backstage area and “scared the living daylights” out of her.
Security arrived and removed him,
Jenkins told fans about the incident in a post on her Twitter.com page, writing,
”U (sic) know how much I love u all but it’s Never acceptable 2 (sic) sneak in2 (into) my dressing room pre-show for a ‘cuddle’. Scared the living daylights outta me.”
She tells Britain’s Mail on Sunday,
”He said he wanted a cuddle. It was pretty scary. My security team got him out of there. We know how he got in. I didn’t involve the police because I didn’t want to make a big fuss. But it won’t be happening again.”
