An Italian magazine to set to print Kate Middleton pictures. The magazine called Chi that it is preparing to print topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge. The first pictures to have been published were from Closer Magazine. Now this time it is planned to print a twenty six photo special of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, according to BBC News.
“The fact that these are the future rulers of England makes the article more interesting and topical,” claimed Chi’s Editor Alfonso Signorini. “This is a deserving topic because it shows in a completely natural way the daily life of a very famous, young and modern couple in love.”
The couple had been on a private holiday in France, and were staying at a French chateau belonging to the Queen‘s nephew Lord Linley when the photos were taken. Just yesterday it had been confirmed that the Royal Family was starting legal action against Closer magazine, which is not run by the same company as the British title.
Bauer Media, which publishes the UK edition of Closer, said that it was “appalled” by the French publication’s actions and described the photos as “a gross intrusion of their Royal Highness‘s privacy”.
It insisted that it is reassessing the terms of its license agreement with Closer France and distanced itself from the magazine in an official statement.
“We deplore the publication of these intrusive and offensive pictures,” said chief executive of Bauer Media Paul Keenan.
“[We] have asked that Closer France takes these pictures down immediately from its website and desist from publishing any further pictures.”
