“Irish Boy Band’ Westlife Bids Emotional Farwell!

Irish boy band Westlife put on a good show Saturday night June 21, 2012 playing their last show for their eighty thousand fans in Dublin. The group which does consist of  Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne gave an announcement of calling it quits after fourteen years as a band.

They did however give on last farewell concert on tour in Europe. Some of their famous hits they sang were What About Now, What Makes A Man, Swear It Again and their biggest hit, Flying Without Wings.

The band who were in tears did give many thanks to all their fans, Kian Egan expressed to the crowd,

“As this is the very last Westlife concert, the whole idea was to be able to get out here and see our fans one last time and celebrate 14 years. It has finally arrived.”

Bandmate Mark Feehily added,

“We are really glad you have shared this all with us. To look out there and see you guys is crazy.

“For 14 years the Westlife fans have made our dreams come true, this show is dedicated to each and every one of you. Our fans mean so much. You have never stopped supporting us.”
