Girls Aloud, Nadine Coyle’s bar is facing some further tax troubles. The Northern Irish singer, songwriter and actress is facing the closure of Irish Mist over in Los Angles if for some reason she fails to settle an ongoing tax dispute.
She had opened up the place in Orange County back in 2008. However in January 2012 reports did come out saying that she had fallen behind with tax payments for her business.
Rumours were being thrown around, and now it has been revealed by local authorities that demands are in progress for almost one hundred and sixty thousand dollars (£100,000) to stop the place from being taken from her and sold to a public auction.
Orange County Treasurer Shari Freidenrich tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper,
“They need to pay the entire balance including all penalties and interest to avoid a tax sale.”
Coyle, who runs the business with her father, Niall, has spoken in a new interview about the difficulties she faced going into business, revealing,
“I have never worked harder in my entire life.”
