‘Gary Carter’ Baseball Hall of Famer Sadly Passes Away, Brain Cancer, He Was Fifty Seven!


American Major League Baseball catcher Gary Carter has passed away of brain cancer, at the age of fifty seven. The Hall of Famer, with his nineteen year career, most of them with the Montreal Expos and the New York Mets, Carter was a catcher in the National League.

Last May he was diagnosed with tumors, and then new tumors were revealed last month. He was known as the ‘Kid’ His daughter, Kimmy Bloemers, announced his death in a statement on Thursday, writing,

”I am deeply saddened to tell you all that my precious dad went to be with Jesus today at 4:10 p.m. This is the most difficult thing I have ever had to write in my entire life but I wanted you all to know.”
