‘Doobie Brothers’ Drummer Michael Hossack Lost His Fight, Dies Of Cancer, He Was Sixty Five!

Doobie Brothers Drummer Michael Hossack (October 17, 1946 – March 12, 2012) has lost his battle with cancer. Hossack who was known as ‘Big Mike’ to his friends had started playing drums in the Little Falls Cadets, a Boy Scout drum and bugle corps, as well as Our Lady of Lourdes Cadets and Fair Lawn Cadets.

He had passed away at his home in Wyoming on Monday March 12. 2012 he was sixty five years old. He was a member of the Doobie Brothers between 1971 and 1973, and played on hits like “Listen to the Music” and “China Grove“.
